2 cups fresh or frozen whole
cranberries, washed and drained
1 1/2 cups sugar plus more for
sprinkling
PREPARATION:
Generously butter a baking dish; add
cranberries. Sprinkle sugar over cranberries then cover dish tightly with
foil. Bake at 350° for 1 hour, stirring once after about 30 minutes. Let
cranberries cool.
Lift out onto waxed paper and
sprinkle with a little more granulated sugar. Let stand until dry and firm.
