This section is for growers... from growers.  We have all found little tricks and have had ideas that make cranberry farming easier.  This is the area where, if you would like, you may share your tips, tricks and suggestions with the rest of us.  We hope this section helps you.  If you have an idea that you would like posted here, email it here

K-L Sport Sled/Tote from Cabela's.

This sled is a great tote for removing and replacing sprinklers.  It's tough and durable.  If the bog doesn't have water in it, it slides across the vines great.  If the bog already has water in it, then it floats.  $37.99 at Cabela's.

Stihl BR 600 Backpack Blower from Stihl.

This is a great blower.  It has a ton of power.  With this blower, you can forget raking berries away from the edges of your bog.

Utility Fork

These are perfect for picking up the trash and leaves during harvest.  They are light weight and and very durable.  Approximately $25.00 at your local farm supply store.

Power Grip Pipe Wrench Set  Home Depot

This tool is the best thing I have ever used for removing and putting back sprinklers.  It's self-adjusting one handed operation makes it ideal for any size upright.    $9.96 at Home Depot.

Bog-Walkers

These are roller-blades converted into bog-walkers.  Just take off the wheels and add your own bog-walker platforms.  The roller-blade boots hold your ankles firmly in place so that they don't twist.  They are easy to walk with and comfortable.  I bought these roller-blades at Wal-Mart for $17.00

Check out the Ruby Slipper on the web and watch watch a video demonstration of it here.

$$$ Price Alert $$$  Any grower who orders any size Ruby Slipper with a 25% down payment before March 16th will be getting the slipper at the old prices and will have it available to use by this year's harvest.
